Testimonial 7: Fucoidan and Chronic myelogenous leukemia by S.L. living New York

May 22, 2020

I am glad and thrilled to introduce one of the chronic myelogenous leukemia testimonials. I would like you to know that Fucoidan reduces the side effects of chemo drugs and protect your bone marrow in a way to expand your quality of life.  Following is the testimonial from Ms. S. L.

Five years ago, I had a health checkup and was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia. However, back then, I didn’t have any signs of the disease. The doctor said my health condition was stable, and no cancer cells were detected yet. Yet, my bone marrow function was poor, resulting in reduced generation of red blood cells and platelets. Thus, I experienced the symptoms of anemia. On August 3, 2010, I started to receive blood transfusions. Since then, whenever I felt my heart rate increase, I had fatigue or experienced weak lower limbs, I’d go to the hospital for the blood transfusion. So, I needed the blood transfusion every 70 days. On August 11, 2013, I went to the hospital for a checkup, and the doctor told me that my health condition had changed. If the chronic myelogenous leukemia became acute leukemia, it would be tough to treat, and my life could be threatened.

The doctor told me that my cancer cells had metastasized to the bone marrow, and chemotherapy treatments were needed. I was terrified upon hearing such a treatment because of the side effects that would kill not only the cancer cells but also healthy cells. Later, I came across some advertisements from newspapers and radios about a seminar on Fucoidan to be given on September 18, 2013, in Manhattan. So, I registered and attended the medical workshop. Through it, the side effects of chemotherapy. I was filled with eagerness and anticipation. So, I ordered Fucoidan, and during chemo, I took 15 capsules four times a day (i.e., three capsules in the morning, at noon and in the evening, respectively, as well as six before going to bed). Surprisingly, I began to notice that the chemotherapy side effects on me were being alleviated, and my health condition was also getting better. In those 45 days, while I was taking the Fucoidan, my red blood cells, platelets, and white blood cells stopped dropping.

Recently, the doctor told me that the treatment course had done, and we’d wait and observe my conditions for a while before deciding on the next treatment program. I’m now taking ten capsules three times a day (i.e., 3, 3, 4 tablets). My appetite much better than before, and I am healthy enough to enjoy taking walks in the park. Thank you, Fucoidan, for helping me through all this and my fight against the deadly disease!
