In August 2011, I started feeling pain in my abdomen and neck. At first, I didn’t put too much thought into it and was only taking Tylenol. However, the pain came back every few days. So I went to the hospital and had my annual physical. While waiting for the result, I passed out and was sent to the ER to a bigger hospital.
I lost my consciousness because the veins in my liver had ruptured, filling my stomach, leaving no room for my diaphragm to move freely. I was unconscious for a week, during which they treated the ruptured veins by inserting an instrument through the aorta instead of by performing laparotomy. Throughout this period, I underwent several tests. To my surprise, I was diagnosed with final stage liver cancer. I was shocked. Having witnessed several friends who went through cancer treatments, I hesitated on getting treated. The doctor had left me no choice but to start my first chemo session on Aug 13th. I suffered from severe side effects, just as I expected.
My second daughter heard about Fucoidan and brought me two bottles of the capsule along with their instruction booklets. I took the time to read them and began taking Fucoidan while I had my second round of chemo on Nov 16th.
I was taking 12 capsules a day. Surprisingly, the side effects of chemo significantly reduced. What is more, the MRI I took one month later showed a decreased number of cancer cells. Since then, I did not doubt Fucoidan’s effectiveness and believed that Fucoidan had indeed made me better.
The following MRI I took on Feb 12th, May 2nd, and Sep 6th, 2012 all showed significant improvement in the number of cancer cells, at which my doctor was amazed. I knew it was miraculous that my condition didn’t deteriorate, and Fucoidan made such positive progress.
Since then, I have been recommending Fucoidan to all the cancer patients I meet, hoping that they can also fight and defeat this dreadful disease with its help.
