Health Benefit of Fucoidan

Benefits of Fucoidan and cancer

August 9, 2019

Finally, I would like to discuss fucoidan benefit and cancer. Fucoidan is a dietary supplement, not medication, but it can help to fight with cancer in physically and mentally without any side effects. I have already shared the research and information on fucoidan benefits along with the side effects of conventional cancer treatment. There must be an essential question, how does fucoidan fight toward cancer cells?

In this blog, I want to mention about blood-related cancers, because recently increase blood-related cancers such as lymphoma and leukemia. It is unclear, but the possible risks of leukemia from being exposed to lower levels of radiation, such as medical imaging tests like X-rays or CT scans, especially exposed very early in life, may increase the risk of leukemia. Moreover, chemical exposures like benzene that is used in many industries. Benzene is also a byproduct of the combustion in cigarettes.

Also, the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) might be linked to lymphoma. It is pathologically associated with lymphoproliferative lesions and malignant lymphomas of B, T and NK cell origin in a vast range. Although this blog explains lymphoma and fucoidan as an example, I want to explain in much detail in my later blog posts. By the research of “Antitumor activity of fucoidan against diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in vitro and in vivo”, Guang Yang et al., they showed that fucoidan treatment induces G0/G1 cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in DLBCL cells, and oral administration of fucoidan inhibited the tumor growth in the mouse model.

As per the studies, fucoidan not only induced apoptosis and inhibited angiogenesis on cancer cells, but also was able to reduce your anxiety at the same time.

According to the research of Bombi Lee et al., the studies repeated restraint stress forcing swim on male rats for 14 day, and examined the effect of fucoidan on the central noradrenergic system by observing changes in neuronal tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) immunoreactivity and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) mRNA expression in the rat brains. Consequently, the result of daily administration of fucoidan during the repeated restraint stress period significantly inhibited the stress-induced behavioral deficits in this behavioral test.

I have confidence in these study results. In these blog posts, I believe you would learn and understand that fucoidan helps you fighting with cancer physically and mentally.
